JMG Constructors LLC was formed in February 2012 with a focus on contracting with owners and agencies that have projects that are challenging in that they are in extreme conditions, environments and contain absolute constraints that must be met. Ann Granlee has a 20+ year background in mortgage lending and banking. She brings that experience to the day-to-day management of the JMG office. Ann lends her attention to detail and business acumen to all aspects of the operations of the company, including project and bidding support.
Jeff Granlee has 20 years of hands‐on experience in public works and federal contracting construction sector. His career began as a carpenter and as he demonstrated his capabilities and proficiency he rose to the positions of superintendent, safety manager and project manager. During the past 10 years Jeff has been the senior project manager on many projects – ranging from $25,000 to multimillion dollars in value – in Washington, Oregon, California and Nevada for owners such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the National Park Service, and the Bureau of Reclamation. He was the operations manager for an SBA certified HUBZone and 8(a) contractor.
Susan Johnson has specialized in construction accounting and business management for over 20 years. She has extensive knowledge in the areas of budgeting, job costing, work in progress schedules and financial statement preparation, as well as experience in payroll and certified payroll reports, local, state and federal tax reporting requirements, document management and coordination of the multiple levels of complex business issues that are standard in the construction industry.
Ron Ellingford has 15+ years of hands-on experience in public works and federal contracting construction projects. He is routinely assigned to supervisory roles on the most demanding and technically complex projects because of his superior leadership and astute attention to detail that he brings to each project. Ron’s crews respect him because he works side-by-side with them and never expects more than he could deliver himself. Project managers are eager to secure Ron on their projects because they know he will settle for nothing less than a top quality project performed with safety as a number one priority. Owners are consistently impressed by Ron’s responsiveness and pro-active approach to problem solving.
Carolyn Thompson, a native of England, has 7+ years’ experience within the construction field both in construction accounting and project administration for public works and federal projects. Carolyn has also worked within the legal field and more recently accounting for a retail company. This wide range of experience brings great overall knowledge and expertise to the Project Administration Position at JMG Constructors with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Lindsay Hiatt has 15+ years of experience in the construction industry from small businesses to large corporations in private, public and federal markets. She has extensive knowledge and background in project and contract administration, construction accounting and estimating administration. With her broad range of experience and extensive knowledge in the administrative side of construction, Lindsay can step in where she is needed. Whether it be assistance with bidding a potential project, to start-up of newly awarded projects or closing out completed projects, she is able to multitask with enough attention to detail to complete tasks on-time.
